I run corporate workshops as an alternative social experience for teams to connect, build rapport and improve well-being with activities that occupy both the hands and the mind. I also supply small-large craft kits as an alternative thoughtful corporate gift to thank/welcome clients or staff.

BACKGROUND

I was an interior designer when COVID hit, I was burnt out & sought mindful creative activities to try to reduce stress. It surprised me how much research, time & money it took just to try a new skill/hobby. I also had to buy the materials in bulk, which was wasteful, so I started Studio HOIME (which stands for Here's One I Made Earlier) to supply DIY crafts kits that enable others to access crafts more easily as a way of de-stressing & connecting with others over a shared experience.

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

Currently I spread joy, one workshop at a time, but I would like to service regular event suppliers to help inject fun, mindfulness & joy into their events. I'd also like to release a practical handbook on DIY craft projects for mental wellness incl. tips to manage stress, depression & anxiety.

OPULENCE

Opulence provides luxury corporate wine tasting experiences to guarantee you a day of unrivalled corporate hospitality. From visiting vineyards for extended wine tastings, hosted by a Winemaker and paired with a locally sourced three-course lunch, to in-house tastings and private special events. Opulence takes care of every detail from start to finish, including transport.

BACKGROUND

My career began in Marketing and Events for Barristers' Chambers in London following a degree in Event Management, which I loved. However, I managed to secure an Event Management job at Balfour Winery which was close to home and my passion for the English Wine industry began. Unfortunately, due to Covid, I returned to working for the Barristers' Chambers but found myself entertaining clients and planning events in vineyards in Kent - Opulence began by combining my love of English wine and the corporate world!

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

To continue to showcase the wines of Kent & expand further into other regions in England such as Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex to support and bring further revenue to these businesses that are on our doorstep. I would also love to expand the offering for corporates instead of the usual sporting hospitality.

FRANKIE'S CERAMICS

Here at Frankie's Ceramics,  we run pottery classes and workshops where we teach you all there is know about Pottery. We also teach you how to make something special, whether that is a bowl, a mug or even a vase. As well as hosting classes and workshops, we also sell our handmade ceramics on our website too. 

BACKGROUND

I always had a passion for Pottery, I decided to take an evening pottery class and once I completed it, I caught the bug and made it my career. I started selling my work and decided to start teaching the art of Pottery to the world. I have employed my colleague Olivia who helps me run my small business and since then, business has been great and we would like to keep growing from here. 

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

We want to expand our business to be able to deliver our brand to a much wider and broader audience across the world. We want to be able to teach everyone the art of Pottery. 

THE SMALL BAND COMPANY

We are a one-of-a-kind entertainment agency based purely on your needs and desires. We provide hand-selected, industry active professionals including top end musicians, bands and DJ for any event!

BACKGROUND

We were working together as musicians for different agencies and bands. We then realised (with all our contacts and friends in the industry) we could do a much better job than most agents we were working for, because we know what it takes to look after our acts correctly, paying fast and giving top quality musicians to clients.

It all started in a coffee shop in Finchley!!

To be the best entertainment agency in London, to continue our steady growth as a new company and to be the 'go to people' for events and music curation!

I’m 23, and moved to London about a year ago, straight from university. Whilst working within large teams at my first corporate job, I found that every project was very much a joint effort - and I yearned for the self-drive and satisfaction of a project just of my own. This January, I used my childhood savings to invest in East London Photobooth - a passion project I intend to pour my personality into, and grow into something wonderful.

I am determined for East London Photobooth to become a significant player within the events industry. Its look is unique, and our service impeccable. Within one year, I want to have a wider portfolio of events, frequently returning clients and to expand in the variety of services provided.

Luminary is an innovative response to a need we saw for women who have had a social and economic disadvantage. We are a social enterprise designed to offer opportunities for women to build a future for themselves. We provide a safe and professional environment where women can grow holistically – encouraging ambition, restoration and second chances. We use baking as a tool to take women on a journey to employability and entrepreneurship.

We want to become a household name! We know there are women all over the UK experiencing gender-based violence and disadvantage and want to be able to offer our life-changing opportunities to every woman who needs them.

VINTAGE VAN EVENTS

We offer personalised mobile bar and cocktail van hire service for parties, corporate events and functions. If you are looking for something a little different for your next event then look no further then Vintage Van Events!

BACKGROUND

Vintage Van Events was created as a plan to escape the corporate world which is all I have known since leaving school. I invested in one van for my own street trading coffee venture and then added a second van to get into the events/mobile bar space. I haven't looked back since and have no regrets in starting my own company!

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

We would love to see our brand becoming more popular in the events space, so much so, that we are able to increase the amount of vans we have in order to accommodate demand.

We started our business in Australia as wedding photographers, where we have since expanded our brand and we now offer our services across the United Kingdom.

We would love to be able to launch our brand across India and to triple the size of our business in the United Kingdom, with hopes that we become an internationally recognised brand.
